I have to agree with Christo on not recommending it for novices - yet. Having used Chrome a bit more since my post, I also see some things not rendering as they should. One example is searching in your friends list on Facebook.
I also miss some of my firefox plugins.

One must remember that this new browser is still in beta mode and have been available for less that 48 hours. I'm also curious to see what the future releases and updates will bring.

Downloaded. Installed. Used. Impressed.

The aspect that impressed most is the speed rendering JavaScript intensive sites like GMail, Youtube and Facebook. GMail and Google Notebook I use on a daily basis and Chrome felt like a desktop tool running these two sites. Especially looking at memory usage, I prefer having Chrome run all day than running Firefox 3.0.1. Don't even get me started on the memory usage of IE8 Beta 2.

I wish an "Adblock Plus" plugin exists for Chrome.

There are however some sites not rendering correctly in Chrome. I haven't tried any of the Acid tests in Chrome, but I'm sure the Google engineers will iron out these minor bugs.

As for the Incognito (aka porn) mode. IE8 Beta 2 has a similar feature and I'm yet to be informed on why we need it. Imho.

At the moment I won't recommend Chrome to novice/inexperienced users, as it's feature incomplete and has page rendering issues. But I'll be using it and anxiously awaiting new releases.
